Table of Contents
With the New year around the corner, we are all enthusiastic about setting a New year’s resolution, but the main goal is to stick to it.
In order to stick to your new year resolution, the trick is to stop being vague with your resolution and get absolutely clear about your new year goals.
For example, your resolution is to be more healthy this year?
Well, what do you need to do to be healthy? Get absolutely clear on that and break it down.
Maybe you want to walk more this year. But what do you mean by ‘more’? Get specific on that too.
‘Walk 5000 steps every day’. That’s a good new year’s resolution and you will be able to know exactly if you will be able to do it or not.
So here in this post are some good new year’s resolution Ideas for all areas of life that you can stick to.

This new year, make a resolution to be more physically active. Sit less and walk more. You can obviously start slowly.
Use a fitness tracker to track your steps.
Start with 1000 steps. 1000 steps might seem too low a goal, but compared to not walking at all, 1000 steps is a good starting point. Then increase slowly.

4.Exercise for 20 mins everyday
Many people set new year resolutions to get active and start exercising, but the reason why we fail is that we only set resolutions, but not a schedule.
If you want to stick to your resolution of exercising this new year, set a schedule for exercising- what time you will exercise and how much.
While it is advised to just start with what you have, our human nature is such that enthusiasm sets in only when we have items necessary to make the move.
So if it is so for you, get that yoga mat, that wonderful workout wear, or stretch bands
5.Eat only home cooked food for a month
This is a valid new year resolution given the amount of food we tend to eat outside, not just tolling our health, but also our money. This new year, make it a goal to eat more home-cooked food and try out one new recipe every Sunday and perfect it.
Once you follow this resolution for a month, you are more likely to turn it into a habit and love eating home food.

Final thoughts on Keeping New Year’s Resolution
So these were some good new year’s resolutions to keep for 2022. These were just some ideas to keep you healthy, save more money and to help you change your life completely this new year
Once you set your new year’s resolution, the main task is to stick with it. One thing I suggest you do if you want to stick to your new year’s resolution is to make your new year’s resolution or your new year’s goal as specific as possible.
For example- want to lose weight this year? Set your resolution to workout for 5 days a week for 30 mins at 5 pm. Be exact with what and when, then work on making it a habit, and you are more than likely to stick to your new year goals.
Then make sure you do these 12 things at the start of every month
All the best!

Thanks for the awesome ideas! We set a goal to redo our cabinets this year, but definitely needed to make some budget resolutions first haha It’s tough to make sacrifices, but at the moment, we barely have enough to rent a dumpster for the demo, and we really want to get the kitchen of our dreams. As hard as the sacrifices will be, the end result is going to be amazing. We’ve been sticking to a budget thanks to your tip and it’s crazy how much we’ve saved by just being a little more mindful. Here’s to a kitchen renovation in 2023 thanks to your tips.
